Guns are NOT for protection and if I hear it one more time…I don’t know what I am gonna do. Probably nothing. Cause there is nothing you can do about this kind of stupidity.

Actually, the issue isn’t all too complex. It is quite simple: Guns are for killing.

Now, I was told time and time again that guns were important for various reasons…mainly protection.

Guns are important for protecting your property…

So people shoot high school kids who want to prank them or enter their garage because of a bet. Or their own wife or husband when (s)he goes downstairs to the kitchen to have a glass of water.

Guns are important to protect your children….

So your children learn that a weapon is a ’normal thing‘ and start to play with it when they find it and (accidentally) shoot their own, their friend’s or their parent’s head off.

Guns are important for self protection…

So you carry them with you when you’re driving in your car and the police stops you and shoots you after you informed them that you have a gun and a permit for it as it is your legal right as a US American citizen because they are scared shitless that people might shoot them with the guns they are allowed to own for protection.

Nicely done. The only ones who don’t understand that guns are harmful, and harmful only, are fools.
